Noah's 1st Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Noah's 1st birthday! His mommy and daddy hosted a party complete with decorations and balloons! He had grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, great-aunts-, great-uncles, and friends help him enjoy the day. And, of course, there were lots of presents. And most of them make noise!! He enjoyed his first taste of cake and wanted to share this video with everyone. He's the cutest one-year-old I know!!!

Hokey Pokey Noah!

It's been quite a while since I've added to our blog site, but I think it's been worth the wait! I have a new video of Noah dancing the Hokey Pokey!! He's 11 months old and keeps us all in stitches. He's a happy, healthy young boy. He loves being outside now that the weather has turned warm. He enjoys taking walks in his stroller, playing ball in the yard, and using the neighbor's swingset. It's hard to believe that he'll be one year old in a few weeks. That will probably be the subject of my next blog entry!!

Noah is off and running!

He's only 9 months old but he's decided that exploring the world vertically is much better than crawling on all fours. There's certainly no stopping him now! Of course I couldn't wait to catch him on video and share it with everyone. You might notice the bruise on his forehead. He tripped into his kitchen table. But it didn't keep him still for long! Grandpa really enjoys spending time with his "little man". He keeps all of us smiling. I hope he makes you smile, too.

Noah's crawling

I have a new video to share with everyone. Noah is now crawling and we've got it on tape! He's such a cutie. And he's growing so fast. Even though he can get around using all fours, he much prefers to be up and walking holding on to our fingers. He's 7 1/2 months old and continues to be such a joy.

Noah's Play Date

On Wednesday, January 21, Noah and I went to visit little Maggie Myers and her Grandma, Jane. Maggie is 4 months old, while Noah is 7 months. This really took Jane and me back a few years. You see, when our kids were much younger, we were in a weekly playgroup with 2 other families. And now, 20 years later, we're resurrecting that tradition!! Maggie's dad, Dan, and Noah's dad, Rob, spent a lot of time together with their siblings playing, taking field trips, making crafts, and creating memories they still talk about today. Jane and I are both "babysitting Grandma's" and loving every minute of it. These two cuties are going to be good friends!

Mom's 70th Birthday

Today we celebrated Mom's 70th birthday with a family brunch at Weaver Ridge. We all enjoyed a delicious meal and family togetherness! She's a very special lady whom we love very much. And a good time was had by all!!!
